Vermicelli is a traditional type of pasta round in section similar to spaghetti. In English-speaking regions it is usually thinner than spaghetti, while in Italy it is typically thicker.
The term vermicelli is also used to describe various types of thin noodles from Asia.
How to cook:
Preperation: Soak the vermicelli in hot water for 3 to 5 minutes until it becomes soft. Take out and drain for 1 minute.
Cook in Soup: Place prepared vermicelli in flavoured soup, cook for 6 to 8 minutes, then add seasoning before serving
Fried vermicelli: Stir-Fry prepared beef, pork, chicken, shrimp or vegetables until cooked, then add prepare vermicelli and stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes
Store in a cool dry place
